UPR reviews all recent applications to UP Education and processes decision for each new PCAC. For each new PCAC with a completed application or confirmed interest. If the PCAC's resume and application are viewed as acceptable they will be referred to a phone interview.
Expectations on Recruitiers:
Once a Once a PCAC has been sent to a recruiter, the recruiter is expected to have invited the PCAC to a Phone Interview within 24 hours of receiving him/her. Recruiters are then expected to have screened the PCAC within 7 days of receiving him/her.
The initial Phone interview is a 25-30 minute conversation a PCAC has with a member of the recruitment team.

At the end of the converstion, the PCAC will receive a score between 0 and 5.PCAC's whose score is between 3 and 5 are referred on to their appropriate locaiton, pending openings and role, and moved along to the Detailed Interview 1 Stage.

Each week (between November and June), every site will have a thirty minute meeting to review the list of active PCAC's in process for positions at that site. Prior to the meeting the appropriate Recruitment Point Person will run a report of active PCACs and will email the report to the same group who receives referrals for the site. These meetings are very important as they allow UPR and the hiring managers a chance to meet face to face and discuss next steps for PCACs and also speak about known openings. It should be noted this is not the only time hiring managers make decision. Hiring managers can and should feel free to follow up on PCACs between weekly meetings, particularly when said PCACs are strong. Hiring managers are also encouraged to not follow-up on PCACs who are declined, as that information can be conveyed during the weekly meetings.
